Cynthia earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law where she served on the editorial board of the Seattle Journal for Social Justice and as an intern for the Ronald E. Peterson Law Clinic’s International Human Rights Clinic. She also volunteered for the Northwest Women’s Law Center’s Self Help Line. Prior to entering private practice, Cynthia received two Public Interest Law Foundation awards for her work at San Francisco AIDS Legal Referral Panel and Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons. She also worked as a judicial extern for a King County Superior Court judge and as a civil litigation extern for the ACLU. While at the ACLU, she assisted with the ACLU’s marriage equality case. Cynthia moved from the desert state of Arizona to the green state of Washington several years ago. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, tennis, films and travel. CYNTHIA BUHR
